I Know You

I know you. You were too short. You had bad skin. You couldn't talk to them very well. Words didn't seem to work, they lied when they came out of your mouth. You tried so hard to understand them. You wanted to be part of what was happening. You saw them having fun and it seemed like such a mystery, almost magic. Made you think that there something was wrong with you. You'd look in the mirror trying to find it. You thought that you were ugly and that everyone was looking at you.

So you learned to be invisible, to look down to avoid conversation. The hours, days, weekends. Ahh, the weekend nights alone! Where were you in the basement, in the attic, in your room? Working some job just to have something to do, just to have a place to put yourself, just to have a way to get away from them? A chance to get away from the one's that made you feel so strange and ill at ease inside yourself?

Did you ever get invited to one of their parties? You sat and wondered if you would go or not. For hours you imagine the scenerios that might transpire! They would laught at you? If you would know what to do? If you would have the right things on? If they would notice that you came from a different planet?

Did you get all brave in your thoughts? Like you were going to be able to go in there and deal with it and have a great time? Did you think that you might be the life of the party? That all these people were going to talk to you and that you would find out that you were wrong? And that you had a lot of friends and you weren't so strange after all?

Did you end up going? Did they mess with you? Did they single you out? Did you find out that you were invited because they thought you were so wierd? Yeah, I think I know you!

You spent alot of time full of hate. A hate that was pure as sunshine. A hate that saw for miles. A hate that kept you up at night. A hate that filled your every waking moment. A hate that carried you for a long time.
Yes, I think I know you!

You couldn't figure out what they saw in the way they lived. Home was not home. Your room was home. A corner was home. The place they weren't, that was home. I know you!

You're sensitive and you hide it because you fear getting stepped on one more time. It seems that when you show apart of yourself that is the least bit vonerable, someone takes advantage of you. One of THEM steps on YOU! They mistake KINDNESS for WEAKNESS! But you know the difference, you've been the brunt of their weakness for years and strength is something you know a bit about, because you had to be strong to keep yourself alive.

You know yourself very well now and you don't trust people. You know them too well. You tried to find that specail person, someone you can be with, someone you can touch, someone you can talk to, someone you won't feel so strange around, and you found that they don't really exist. You feel closer to people on movie screens. Yeah, I think I know you!

You spend alot of time day dreaming, and people have made comment to that affect. Telling you that you're self-involved and self-centered, but they don't know, do they about the long night shifts alone, about the years of keeping yourself company? All the nights you wrapped your arms around yourself so you can imagine someone holding you? The hours of indecision, self-doubt, the intense depression, the blinding hate, the rage that made you stagger, the devistation of rejection?

Well, maybe they do know. But if they do, they sure do a good job of hiding it. It astounds you how they can be soooo smooth. How they seem to pass through life, as if Life itself was some divine gift. And it infieriates you to watch yourself with your apparent skill in finding everyway possible to screw it up!

For you, life is a long trip: terrifing and wonderful! Birds sing to you at night. The rain and the sun, the changing seasons are true friends. solitude is a hard one allie, faithful and pateint. Yeah, I think I know you.

No Vasoline

Goddamn, I'm glad ya'll set it off!
Used to be hard now you're just wet and soft!
First you was down with the AK,
And now I see you on a video with Michel'le?

Looking like straight bozo's,
I saw it coming that's why I went solo,
And kept on stomping when,
Ya'll motherfuckers moved straight outta Compton.

Living with the whites in one big house,
And not another nigga in site,
I started off with too much cargo,
Dropped four niggas,
Now I'm making all the dough.

White man just ruling the Niggas With Attitudes?!
Who you fooling ya'll niggas just phony,
I put that on my mama and my dead homeys!

Yella boy's on your team so you're losing,
And Dre stick to producing,
Calling me Arnold but you been-a-dick,
Eazy E saw your ass and went in it quick.

You got jealous when I got my own company,
But I'm a man and ain't nobody helping me,
Trying to sound like Amerikkka's Most,
You could yell all day but you don't come close!

Cause you know I'm the one that flown,
You done run 100 miles but you still got one to go,
With the L-E-N-C-H M-O-B and ya'll disgrace the C-P-T,
Cause you're getting fucked out your green,
By a white boy with no vaseline!
Now you're getting done without vaseline!
Now you're getting done without vaseline!
Now you're getting done without vaseline!

Damn, it feels good to see people...on it!

The bigger the cap the bigger the peeling,
Who gives a fuck about a punk-ass villain?
You're getting fucked real quick,
And Eazy's dick is smelling like MC Ren's shit.

Tried to tell you a year ago,
But Willie D told me to let a ho be a ho,
So I couldn't stop you from getting ganked,
Now let's play big-bank-take-little-bank.

Tried to diss Ice Cube it wasn't worth it,
Cause the broomstick fit your ass so perfect,
Cut my head and I'll cut them balls,
Cause I heard you like giving up the drawers.

Gang-banged by your manager, Fella!
Getting money out your ass,
Like a motherfucking ready teller.
Giving up the dollar bills,
Now they got the villain with a purse and high-heels.

So don't believe what Ren say,
Cause he's going out like Kunta Kinte,
But I got a whip for you Toby,
Used to be my homey,
Now you act like you don't know me.

It's a case of divide and conquer,
Cause you let a Jew break up my crew,
House nigga gotta run and hide,
Yelling Compton but you moved to Riverside.

So don't front MC Ren,
Cause I remember when you drove a B 2-10,
Broke as a motherfucking joke!
Let you on the scene to back up the first team.

It ain't my fault one nigga got smart,
And they ripping your asshole apart,
By taking your green,
The villain does get fucked with no vaseline!

Now you're fucked without Vaseline.

I never have dinner with the President!
I never have dinner with the President!
I never have dinner with the President!
And when I see your ass again I'll be hesitant!

Now I think you a snitch throw a house nigga in a ditch,
Half-pint Bitch fucking your homeboys,
You little maggot!
Eazy E turned faggot!

With your manager, Fella,
Fucking MC Ren, Dr. Dre, and Yella!
But if they were smart as me,
Eazy E would be hanging from a tree.

With no vaseline,
Just a match and a little bit of gasoline,
Light them up!
Burn them up!
Flame on!
Till that jheri curl is gone!

On a permanent vacation,
Off the massa plantation,
Heard you both got the same bank account, dumb nigga,
What you thinking about?

Get rid of that devil real simple,
Put a bullet in his temple,
Cause you can't be the Nigga 4 Life crew,
With a white Jew telling you what to do.

Pulling wools with your scams,
Now I gotta play the silence of the lambs,
With a midget who's a punk too,
Trying to fuck me but I'd rather fuck you!

Eric Wright, punk, always into something,
Getting fucked at night by Mista Shitpacker,
Bend over for the goddman cracker,
No vaseline!
